I decided I would try my hand at sewing more fruity lining into things.
I can honestly say my finger tips do not appreciate my efforts and it might just be appropriate to invest in a thimble….
Nevertheless, I have created this quite cute little zip up pouch with watermelons on (and in) it 😊
I decided to make a bag for my step sister for her birthday. I loved the
Popcorn Granny Square pattern from Hooked By Robin but didn’t want to make a whole blanket.
I made 3 squares and turned them into a little bag, and lined it with some lovely kiwi print material.
On the whole I’m really pleased with it!
It was gorgeous at 7 for my bootcamp this morning!! A reminder of how lucky I am to live in such a lovely part of the world!!
So today my stickers arrived!! I’m super pleased with them, my partner designed them for me. The cat in the logo is called Bruce and I will be making some little ones to sell at the craft fare in August!
I made this blanket some time ago now, it’s a gift for my best friend’s little girl, however thanks to the pandemic it has not made it’s way to it’s new owner just yet!
The Blanket body is a pattern from one of my favourite crochet tutorial you tubers, Hooked by Robin, you can check out the video
here if you would like to make your own!
The hippo was something Imade muself, though he’s not too complicated, just basic amigarumi shapes and then sewn to the blanket body.
He took me a few hours to make but I wasn’t a very confident crocheter at the time so I was very careful and slow, I needed him to be just perfect!
The yarn is all from
Snufflebeanyarn and is the Scheepjes ‘Chunky Monkey’. It’s a super soft yarn, which is quite loosley spun but you soon get used to working with it.
